The Los Angeles Dodgers have reached agreement with relief pitcher Chris Perez on a one-year deal.
Perez previously racked up 132 saves while pitching for the Cleveland Indians but he will not be the go to go in Los Angeles. The 28-year-old Perez will occupy a spot ahead of Brian Wilson and closer Kenley Jansen in the Dodgers bullpen.

There was some speculation that Perez would hold out for a closer gig but the veteran has opted to take the money from the Dodgers instead.
Perez finished last year with 25 saves and a 4.33 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 5/21 K/BB ration in 5 games.
