Grant Balfour has an offer from one major league tea for a contract next season while three others are interested in signing the 35-year-old reliever.

Balfour had a two-year deal from the Baltimore Orioles pulled after team doctors expressed concern over an injury from 2005. He since has been given a clean bill of health by two different doctors.

Balfour believes each club would sign him to be their closer. He saved 38 games for the Oakland Atletics this season but was not brought back. The Athletics later acquired Jim Johnson from the Orioles.
