The Atlanta Braves avoided arbitration with right handed pitcher Brandon Beachy.
Beachy, 27, returned from Tommy John surgery last season but made just five starts in 2013 while dealing with the lingering effects of the surgery. He is expected to be ready for the start of Spring Training.
The Braves will give Beachy $1.45 million next season after paying just $510,000 last season.
Beachy has yet to pitch a complete season at the big league level. Over the course of the last four seasons he has appeared in 46 games (all starts) compiling a 14-11 record, 3.23 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
