The Atlanta Braves are close to signing free agent right hander Gavin Floyd to a one-year contract.
Floyd appeared in just five games last season before undergoing Tommy John surgery.
#Braves are the "mystery team" that's been talking with Gavin Floyd. Believed to be close to a deal, but not finalized yet.

Prior to Floyd being linked to the Braves the name of Chicago Cubs starter Jeff Samardzija had been heavily linked to the team.
In his career Floyd owns a 70-70 record with a 4.48 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP.
