The Los Angeles Dodgers have given Juan Uribe a two-year deal.
Uribe will return to the Dodgers following a season in which he hit .247/.331/.438 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI.
The Miami Marlins were reportedly interested in Uribe which may have led the Dodgers to upping a previously reported deal of one-year with an option. Uribe’s new deal obviously hurts the chances of Michael Young returning to the Dodgers. Young could end up being an option for the Marlins.
