The Chicago Cubs have signed Ryan Roberts to a minor league contract.
Roberts, 33, appeared in just 60 games for Tampa Bay before being let go in mid-August.
The Cubs deal with Roberts includes a invite to Spring Training. If he makes the roster he should have no trouble finding at-bats across the infield.
