Starting pitcher Mark Prior

Mark Prior has retired from baseball.

Once a star pitcher of the Chicago Cubs, Prior had not pitched in the major leagues since 2006 even as he attempted a comeback each season. Last year it was the Cincinnati Reds who gave Prior a chance, they let him go in June.

Prior is expected to pursue a front office job, possibility with San Diego. He finishes his career with a 42-29 record, a 3.51 ERA and 757 strikeouts.

There are numerous words that could be used to describe Prior. You’re welcome to share yours below in our comments.
