Roy Halladay has signed a one day contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Halladay dealt with shoulder issues in 2013 and rather than attempt a comeback he will simply hang it up at the age of 36. The right handed Halladay was 203-105 with a 3.38 ERA in his career while winning two Cy Young Awards.

The Blue Jays were the team who drafted Halladay and took an aggressive approach of sending back him to the minor leagues early in his career and ultimately led him to being one of the most dominant pitchers over the last decade.
Despite two Cy Youngs, and eight All-Star Game selections, Halladay’s Hall of Fame credentials are unclear.
