It’s just a matter of time. Logan Morrison will be traded by the Miami Marlins.
On Monday the team announced to potential trade partners that they will trade the 26-year-old who made 79 appearances at first base shortly.
Multiple teams have been linked to Morrison but none as much as the Tampa Bay Rays and Pittsburgh Pirates. The Rays are seeking to replace James Loney while the Pirates want to fill the void created by the departure of Garrett Jones and Justin Morneau.
