The Washington Nations have signed free agent outfielder Nate McLouth to a two-year deal.

Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun says the deal is for $10.75 million and also includes an option for a third season. Not bad for a player who will serve as a fourth outfielder for the club in 2014.

McLouth can play all three outfield positions and is coming off a season in which he hit .258/.329/.399 with 12 homers and 30 stolen bases for the Orioles.
