The Chicago White Sox have agreed to a one-year deal with relief pitcher Ronald Belisario.

Belisaro, 30, will be a nice addition to the White Sox bullpen as he moves into a setup role in front of closer Addison Reed. With the Dodgers last season, Belisario posted 3.97 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP over 77 games. The White Sox are hoping that the right hander improves on those numbers and comes closer to the 2.54 ERA and 1.07 WHIP he had in 68 games during the 2012 season.

Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports that the deal is for one-year and $3 million.

Non-tendered by the Dodgers earlier this week it did not take Belisario long to find a new home.
