The Chicago Cubs have signed left handed relief pitcher Wesley Wright to a one-year deal worth $1.425 million.
Wright, 28, was recently non-tendered by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Last season Wright posted a 3.69 ERA and 55/19 K/BB ratio over 53 2/3 innings between the Rays and Houston Astros. Wright figures to be a key part of the Cubs bullpen next season.
