The Miami Marlins non-tendered reliever Ryan Webb and outfielder Chris Coghlan.

Webb, 27, should have no trouble finding a new home after posting a 2.91 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP over 80 1/3 innings of work in 2013. While he does not rack up the strike out numbers he has more than made up for it with ground balls.

In addition to Webb the Marlins opted to non-tender for NL Rookie of the Year Chris Coghlan. Since winning the award Coghlan’s career has gone south with injuries and a general lack of production.

The former Rookie of the Year has put up a .242/.307/.352 batting line in four seasons since winning the award and has had trouble staying healthy. He might have to settle for a minor league deal this winter.

Coghlan may have to settle for a minor league deal.  The 28-year-old finished 2013 with a .256/.318/.354 line with a home run and 10 runs scored in 70 games
