The Colorado Rockies want Walt Weiss to return for the 2014 season and while the manager would welcome a return he wants more than a one-year deal.
Under Weiss the Rockies were 74-88 in 2013.
It was the first year managing for the 49-year-old Weiss who spent 14 seasons at the major league level as a player.
The Denver Post also reports that no additional moves are expected in the Rockies front office.
