Previous reports have suggested that Alex Rodriguez would appeal any suspension from Major League Baseball from his connection to the Biogenesis clinic in Florida but that may not be the case any longer.
ESPN’s TJ Quinn reports that Rodriguez is negotiating his suspension with MLB.
Sources tell OTL A-Rod and MLB are negotiating over a possible suspension, with MLB still holding out threat of lifetime ban.

MLB is still holding out the threat of a lifetime ban but that does not figure to stick under any circumstances.
Suspension for those connected to the Biogenesis clinic are expected to come later this week.
