Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz destroyed the dugout phone on Saturday night when he returned to the dugout after he had thought he earned his third walk of the evening with a 7-2 lead on the Baltimore Orioles in the seventh inning.
The home plate umpire ruled the 3-0 pitch a ball even though Ortiz was headed towards first base. Ortiz eventually struck out and had words with the home plate umpire about the sequence.
Big Papi was ejected from the game and went back to the dugout and let them all know how he really felt…
The Red Sox did win the game 7-3 though.
