Cole Hamels picked up his career high and major league leading 13th loss of the season on Friday. Hamels pitched well against the Detroit Tigers but the Phillie offense could not push across more then one run against Doug Fister.
On the night Hamels allowed two runs while striking out six and issuing three passes. Hamels is 4-13 on the season with a 4.09 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP.
His next scheduled start is Thursday against the Giants.
