The return of Manny Ramirez to the major league level will not happen immediately after the All-Star break.

Those betting on the Rangers at sites such as www.coral.co.uk will be interested in knowing when Ramirez does get called to Arlington.

Signed to a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers, Ramirez is currently hitting .300 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI since being assigned to Triple-A Round Rock.

While there is no indication of when Ramirez, 41, will be recalled TR Sullivan confirms he will continue to play in the minors for now.

Oddly enough Nolan Ryan mentioned that Ramirez could be an option for the team after the break just yesterday in a radio interview.

On ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM on Monday, per ESPN.com, Ryan said the Rangers “have to take him into consideration” as they look for a right-handed hitter.

Ramirez last played in majors in 2011 with Tampa Bay before testing positive for a banned substance. In his 19 year career he has 555 home runs, 1831 RBI and a .312/.411/.585 career line.
