Chris Davis opened up a callous on his right hand in Monday’s Home Run Derby. Davis burst the callous on his right palm during the second round of the competition but is not concerned about it.
Davis said a blister in his right palm burst. He has it every year. No concern. He usually uses passes batting gloves. Switched to those.

Davis hit eight home runs in the first round but just four in the second.
Currently Davis leads all of baseball with his 37 home runs. He also .315/.392/.717 line with 93 RBI.
