The season of Philadelphia Phillies reliever Mike Adams could be over.
Adams was placed on the disabled list with biceps tendinitis over the weekend.

Adams will visit Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Tuesday to get a diagnosis on his arm. The concern is that Adams will need surgery to repair his labrum.
The Phillies had been aware of Adams discomfort for a few weeks before he was placed on the disabled list.
Adams has appeared in 28 games this year and owns a 3.96 ERA and 1.36 WHIP.
