Scott Feldman leads Cubs past Mets

Scott Feldman continues to reward the Chicago Cubs for giving him another chance to start in the big leagues.

On Saturday Feldman won his sixth game of the season after throwing seven innings against the Mets. Feldman allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out six.

In the contest Feldman lowered his ERA to 3.05 and his WHIP to 1.10. He will face the first place St. Louis Cardinals in his next outing.

Feldman has also helped his cause at the plate this season and that continued on Saturday as he delivered a two run single off of Mets starter Jon Niese. Overall Feldman is hitting .192 on the year with six RBI in 26 at-bats.
