It is one way to celebrate, just not cost effective. In Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Cubs one woman dumped a beer on her partner to the game after he missed a home run off the bat of pitcher Travis Wood.
Wood’s home run came in the fifth inning and narrowly was out of the reaching grasp of the man. The Cubs took a 2-0 lead on the blast but the Mets would come back and win the game by a 4-3 score.
