The No. 2 prospect in baseball, according to Baseball America, has been sent to Triple-A. Baltimore Orioles prospect Dylan Bundy, 20, will pitch for the Norfolk Tides to start the season.
Bundy is considered a top of the rotation stater but this spring his velocity was down which has caused some alarm. Even had Bundy impressed it is unlikely he would have made the team.
In four spring appearances the right handed Bundy had a 1.13 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.
Bundy pitched at three different levels in the minors last season, finishing the year at Double-A Bowie.
