Rich Hill and the Cleveland Indians have agreed to a minor league deal. Hill will receive an invitation to spring training where he will compete for a spot in the Indians bullpen.
The left-handed Hill compiled a 1.83 ERA in 19 2/3 innings of relief while with Boston in 2012.
Hill has spent parts of eight seasons at the major league level with the Cubs, Orioles and Red Sox.
