The Chicago White Sox have reached an agreement with reliever Matt Lindstrom. Lindstromg will assume a setup role in Chicago after being a part of the Orioles and Diamondbacks last season.
Lindstrom’s deal also calls for an option for the 2014 season.
Last season Lindstrom compiled a 2.68 ERA in 47 innings of work. After serving as a member of the Orioles bullpen to start the season, Lindstrom was traded to the Diamondbacks on August 26 for Joe Saunders and cash.
