The Kansas City Chiefs saw a chance to defeat the Denver Broncos slip though their fingers on Thursday night.
After Peyton Manning hit Emmanuel Sanders for a touchdown to tie up the game, the Chiefs seemed content to run out the clock and force overtime.
Quarterback Alex Smith handed off to Jamaal Charles who committed his second fumble of the night. Brandon Marshall knocked the ball lose while Bradley Roby ran the ball 29 yards for the go ahead touchdown.

Sanders touchdown and Roby’s came only nine seconds apart.
The fumble left Charles to take out his frustration on his helmet to no avail.
