If Thad Lewis is unable to go in Week 7 the Buffalo Bills may turn to Matt Flynn.
On Monday the Bills signed the veteran Flynn to a contract after Lewis suffered a mild foot sprain in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Buffalo is currently without first round draft pick E.J. Manuel who is dealing with a knee injury. Prior to signing Flynn the only other option on the roster to start in place of Lewis is undrafted free agent Jeff Tuel who looked overwhelmed in his first taste of action two weeks ago.
When introduced to reporters Flynn talked about his time in Seattle and Oakland saying “It’s all gone by so fast … It didn’t work out. I needed to play better and I’m happy for a fresh start”
Ideally Lewis will be able to go on Sunday. He was 19-of-32 for 216 yards with two touchdowns though the air and another touchdown on the ground to go along with a fumble.
