The New York Giants will be without running back David Wilson when they take on the Chicago Bears this Thursday.

Wilson injured his neck in the second quarter of Sunday’s loss to Philadelphia.

There was little reason to believe that Wilson would play with such a short turnaround and Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has gone ahead and ruled him out.

The Giants will be left with a backfield of Da’Rel Scott and Brandon Jacobs.
