The Detroit Lions will be without wide receiver Nate Burleson for the next month after he broke his arm in a single-car accident Monday night.
Burleson had a big game in Week 3 catching six passes for 116 yards.
According to Dave Birkett alcohol was not involved. The incident happened on westbound I-696 near Drake in Farmington Hills, police said, when Burleson was “trying to catch an object that was falling off his seat.”
Nate Burleson broke his arm in 2 places in an early morning car accident. Will undergo surgery. Obviously a huge loss for the #Lions.

“We will provide appropriate updates when more information on Burleson’s condition becomes available,” a statement from the Detroit Lions reads.
Ryan Broyles will fill Burleson’s spot as the teams slot receiver if his legs hold up from a second torn ACL.
