The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to be without Kobe Bryant for the next six weeks. Bryant has a fracture in his left knee.

Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni expressed disappointment about the news.

“You hate it for Kobe. He’s worked so hard to get back” D’Antoni said.

Xavier Henry will take over the duties at point guard for the Lakers. In Bryant’s six games this season he had averaged 13.8 points per game.
