The Yomiuri Giants gave agreed to a $2 million contract with outfielder Gerardo Parra.
Parra, 32, became a fan favorite during the Nationals push to make the postseason largely due to his walk up music – Baby Shark.
The Nationals did not use Parra much during their postseason run and in 301 trips to plate he managed just a .234/.293/.391 line.
