Masahiro Tanaka will get the ball in Game 1 of the ALCS against the Astros. The Yankees will follow Tanaka with Luis Severino and CC Sabatia meaning the three starters who helped rally the team back from the brink of elimination in the ALDS against the Indians will be the first guys on the mound against the fierce Astros lineup.

Sonny Gray, who started Game 1 of the ALDS, will pitch in Game 4 leaving some Yankees fans to wonder why the team acquired him.
The Astros previously announced that Dallas Keuchel would start Game 1 with Justin Verlander pitching in Game 2.
