The Los Angels Angels have signed closer Huston Street to a two-year extension worth $18 million.
Street’s new deal also includes a club option for the 2018 season worth $10 million. The 32-year-old was set to become a free agent at the end of the season but no one expected the Angels to let him get away.
This season Street has a 3.29 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP to go along with 11 saves.
