The Atlanta Braves are ready to activate Jordan Walden which means someone will be kicked out of the bullpen. The odd man out appears to the Alex Wood.
Wood has seen time in the rotation and the bullpen this season. The long-term plan is for the left hander to occupy a rotation spot but the Braves had been trying to limit his innings thus far. Already in June and limited to 60 1/3 innings the Braves have been successful thus far.
Mark Bowman reports, that once optioned to the minors, Wood will be stretched out for a return to the rotation.
The #Braves have not officially made a move to activate Walden, but it sounds like Wood will be going to Gwinnett to stretch out

In Wood’s 18 games (7 starts) he holds a 3.43 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP. He also has a 63/15 K/BB ratio.
