The Los Angeles Angels should have outfielder Josh Hamilton ready for the start of the regular season.
Hamilton, 32, added 20 pounds this offseason. Last Tuesday he strained his left calf while doing base running drills. He is still expected to be out another week or two.
Josh Hamilton (strained calf) will be out "minimum" 2 weeks, Scioscia said. Optimistic he'll still be ready for Opening Day.

Hamilton will be looking to improve on the .250/.307/.432 line with 21 home runs and 79 RBI he had in 151 games last season.
