Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols has enjoyed a “normal offseason” according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
Pujols, 34, dealt with a tear in the plantar fascia of his left foot in 2013 and was shut down before the season ended. Pujols hit career lows in nearly every offensive statistic finishing with a .258/.330/.437 line with 17 home runs and just 64 RBI.

The Angels will be hoping that they get more out of Pujols this season and going forward as they owe him $222 million.
