Eric Stults will remain a part of the San Diego Padres in 2014.
On Monday the Padres and Stults agreed to a one-year deal worth $2.75 million to avoid arbitration.

The 33-year-old Stults has put together a nice season and a half with the Padres of late. In 2013 Stults topped 200 innings for the first time in his career finishing with a 3.93 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP over 33 starts.
