The Minnesota Twins have not had a lot of success in recent years but the team still values manager Ron Gardenhire. Multiple news outlets are reporting that the Twins will retain Gardenhire by giving him a two-year extension.

An official press conference is to take place at Target Field on Monday at 2:30 pm CT.
Gardenhire has managed the Twins since 2002 and has guided them to six AL Central titles but the Twins are just 195-291 since the start of 2011. During Gardenhire’s 12 years with the team he has a 998-947 record.
