The Atlanta Braves have now won 13 games in a row.

On Wednesday night the Braves defeated the Washington Nationals for the third straight day. The Braves will take an off day on Thursday prior to opening up a home stand at Turner Field which will feature the Marlins, Phillies and Nationals.

Kris Medlen won his third consecutive start to improve to 9-10 on the season with a 3.85 ERA. Medlen’s lone mistake in Wednesday’s game was a two run home run given up to Jayson Werth.

Justin Upton continues to be on fire going 3-4 with a walk, double and a home run of his own. Upton drove in three and now has a 12-game hitting streak.

Least we not forget that Craig Kimbrel notched his 36th save, and 26th in a row. Kimbrel holds a 1.22 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP on the season.
