The Toronto Blue Jays signed right handed pitcher Buddy Carlyle to a minor league deal. Carlyle, 34, last played in the majors i 2011.
Last season Carlyle pitched at Triple-A for the Braves. He finished with a 3,43 ERA and a 73/14 K/BB ratio over 76 innings but has never approached those numbers at the major league level.
In Toronto, Carlyle will serve as organization depth this season for Triple-A.
