Oakland Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp robbed Price Fielder of a home run in Game 3 of the ALCS. Crisp who is playing center-field for the A’s raced back towards the outfield wall and made a leaping grab to keep the ball in the yard.
It earned Crisp a bit of redemption for the miscue that allowed Detroit to take a 3-2 lead in the seventh inning Sunday, when he charged Miguel Cabrera’s two-out flare and had it bounce off his glove as he tried to make a basket catch.
The Athletics are trailing the Detroit Tigers two games to zero in the best of five series.
