Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested in downtown Indianapolis early Sunday morning on misdemeanor drunken driving charges.
Officers approached Allen’s vehicle around 1:00 a.m. ET while it was parked in a no-parking zone. After observing signs of intoxication, police arrested the 34-year-old following an initial investigation. Jail records indicate Allen was held at the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) and OVWI endangering a person.
The Colts issued a brief statement confirming they are aware of the incident, actively gathering information, and withholding further comment for now.
Allen, a six-time Pro Bowler, recently signed a one-year contract with Indianapolis earlier this month. The 14-year NFL veteran played briefly in Saturday’s preseason matchup against the Detroit Lions, recording a 24-yard reception. Allen spent the first 11 seasons of his career with the Chargers before playing for the Chicago Bears in 2024, coming off a 2025 campaign where he tallied 81 catches for 777 yards.
