Kevin Harvick and a trio of Joe Gibbs Racing drivers all have better than 10:1 odds entering Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Harvick (3:1, +300) is tops on the board followed by Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin (6:1, +600) and Martin Truex Jr, (8:1, +800).
Sunday’s race will see casino bonuses for the group of Team Penske drivers of Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski all checking in at 10:1, while being joined by All Star race winner Chase Elliott.
Elliott’s All Star Race win saw the most fans in the stands since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Texas is planning to host fans on Sunday filling in 50% of their seats.
Harvick has won three of the last five races at Texas with Hamlin and Busch each scoring a win themselves during that time. The four wins on the season for Harvick have matched his total from a year ago.
Another driver worth keeping an eye on at Texas is Jimmie Johnson. The seven-time Cup Series champion is a seven-time winner at the track and has notched 22 top-10 finishes in his 33 career starts.
A last lap pass for a win at Kentucky has not upped the oddsmakers view of Cole Custer who will enter Texas as a 100:1 long shot falling into a group of drivers which include Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 will air on NBCSN at 3:00 pm ET from the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway located in Fort Worth, Texas. Scheduled for 501 miles, the race is set to consist of 334 laps.
