The Chicago White Sox will be without left handed ace Chris Sale for the foreseeable future.
Sale will begin a minor league rehab assignment in two weeks which pushes him at-least three weeks back from contributing at the big league level.
The 25-year-old Sale was shut down after experiencing a flexor muscle strain following an April 18 start. Sale was able to throw a light bullpen session on Monday.
Sale says light bullpen session went well. No timetable for a return but he says he feels better than when the process started.

Prior to being shut down Sale was 3-0 with a 2.30 ERA and a 0.84 WHUP across four starts.
