Reggie Wayne wants to return to the NFL for the 2014 season.
The Indianapolis Colts wide receiver is out with a torn ACL but expects to resume running in mid-January. Wayne is hoping to avoid any setbacks and be ready for training camp.
Reggie update. @Schultz1260 Wayne says he’s expected to start running in a month and a half, and it’ll be 4 1/2 months until “full throttle”

It’s obviously too early to know anything about Wayne’s future but he’s not known to be one who will sit out of a lineup. Prior to this injury he had not missed a game since his rookie season in 2001.
Owed $4 million in 2014 the Colts could sure use a healthy Wayne.
