Corey Heim to run 12 Cup races for 23XI

23XI Racing announced on Friday that development driver Corey Heim will pilot the No. 67 Toyota for a 12-race slate during the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Heim, the defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, will begin his campaign by attempting to qualify for the Daytona 500 next Sunday, Feb. 15.

The 23-year-old Marietta, Georgia native is coming off a dominant 2025 season where he set a Truck Series record with 12 wins, capping the year with a championship victory at Phoenix. He also made four Cup starts for 23XI last season, earning a notable sixth-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway.

“I’m excited and honored to continue my progression with 23XI,” Heim said. “I look forward to more Cup races this year and the opportunity to grow and expand my race-craft on and off the track.”

2026 Schedule for the No. 67 Toyota:

  • April 19: Kansas Speedway

Veteran crew chief Bootie Barker, who led Bubba Wallace to two victories between 2021 and 2024, will return to the pit box for the No. 67 team.

“We know the future is really bright for Corey,” said 23XI co-owner Denny Hamlin. “We’re continuing to stick to our plan and taking a long-term approach… to ensure that he is as prepared as possible when his time comes to race full time.”

In addition to his Cup duties, Heim will continue as a regular participant in the 23XI competition department and run a part-time Truck Series schedule with Tricon Garage.
