Corey Heim began Saturday’s truck race on the pole with Giovanni Ruggiero would pass Kyle Busch for second on lap six of the race. Heim and most of the other leaders would pit after Tyler Tomassi stalled this resulted in Ruggiero getting a turn out front and ultimately winning the first stage.
Following pitstops Heim would regain the lead but Layne Riggs would get loose forcing Heim and him up the track allowing Grant Enfinger to pass both. Heim would run Enfinger down but before he could make a pass caution came out for Conner Jones who experienced a flat tire. This would allow Enfinger to win the second stage.
Enfinger would lose the lead to Heim at the start of the third stage after Chandler Smith bumped Enfinger. Brent Crews would spin from sixth as the race was inside ten laps to go. Riggs would get into Heim as he went for the lead allowing Smith to sneak though for the victory.
The win is the second of the season for Smith. Heim led the most laps of his career but had to settle for 17th.
