Carson Hocevar scored the first NASCAR Cup Series pole of his career on Saturday during qualifying for the Wurth 400.
Hocevar’s lap of 28.175 seconds bested William Byron with Austin Cindric, Kyle Larson and Michael McDowell all will start inside the top-five.
Ty Gibbs, Josh Berry, Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace and AJ Allmendinger round out the top-ten.
Coverage of the Wurth 400 at Texas will air on FS1 beginning at 3:30 pm ET.
