Austin Cindric has placed himself in the playoffs as the driver of the No. 2 Ford Mustang led seven laps to win the Jack Link’s 500.
Cindric’s first win at Talladega Superspeedway comes in his seventh start at the track. He adds to his Daytona 500 win in 2022 and a win at Gateway last season.

The margin of victory for Cindric was 0.022 seconds ahead of Ryan Preece. Hendrick Motorsports cars of Kyle Larson and William Byron finished behind him with Joey Logano rounding out the top five.
Following the race the cars of Preece and Logano were both disqualified.
