Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in its journey with the appointment of Jesse Little as Vice President of Business Development. A lifelong member of the NASCAR community, Little brings a unique blend of racing heritage, professional experience, and business acumen to the rapidly growing organization.

He cares about people, whilst being a high-energy, high-level operator that brings even more youthful energy and passion to our team.”
Jesse Little’s background in the NASCAR ecosystem is as deep as it is dynamic. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems from the Belk School of Business at UNC-Charlotte in 2021, Little quickly rose through the ranks in NASCAR’s own competition department. Starting in 2022, he served as Manager of Competition Operations, where he played a pivotal role in organizing logistics and managing operations across all three of NASCAR’s national series.
Little’s insight and experience stem not only from his professional career but from a lifetime spent in and around the garage. He is the son of former NASCAR driver and executive Chad Little and followed a similar path—beginning as a driver himself. Jesse competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, going wheel-to-wheel with Sam Hunt and working closely with Kris Bowen, now SHR’s crew chief. His driving career took him to both the NASCAR Truck and Xfinity Series before transitioning into leadership at NASCAR headquarters.
Now, as VP of Business Development, Little is eager to help elevate SHR both on and off the track.
“Sam has done an exceptional job growing his program into a competitive and respected force within the NASCAR garages,” said Little. “He’s created an environment for people passionate about this sport, where they can show their value and help grow the organization as a whole. I’m thrilled to be joining SHR and look forward to working with the great group of people there. We’re excited to show everyone the potential of this race team.”
